Director Frank Torre and his national committee of coaches, scouts, and alumni attend hundreds of high school games, tournaments and showcases to watch players. Above and beyond showing baseball ability that projects toward competing at a collegiate level, we also look to recognize athletes committed to academic success, and leadership both on and off the field.

"My family has been in professional baseball for over 50 years. My dad was a World Series Champion and my uncle Joe is the fifth most-winningest manager in MLB history, Hall of Fame inductee and Chief Baseball Officer of Major League Baseball. The number one lesson they taught me growing up was that it's just as important to stand out off the field as it is to stand out on the field. All Area Honors is dedicated to recognizing outstanding baseball athletes that show the ability and leadership to compete at the collegiate level".

Frank was an elite high school athlete, Freshman All American at the University of New Orleans, and draft pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is currently the Head Coach at Indian River State College.
